This was a lovely read (as always). Uncanny but I also started therapy recently and without any major trigger; so I found myself nodding in agreement with everything you wrote about your experience so far. Its great tidying up of the mind, I feel! Congratulations on all the good stuff that's been happening and have the best time in Germany!
I never leave comments. I always think why would, what I have to say, even matter.
I've been reading your newsletter for a long time. It's been comforting. I read your blog after your adapted blog book was published but I was in awe of your bravery to write about yourself even back then. We've even corresponded for a story :) I sort of feel if we knew each other we would be best friends. That's the power of your writing.
You deserve all the good things. Have fun in Germany!
Don't feel too guilty about leaving us in this mess of a country. Look forward to more news and updates.
Best wishes! Looking forward to reading about your experiences once you get to Germany. I just read the Scarlett and Margaret fashion piece and wondered if you liked the movie and what you think of the actors. Like Darcy and Howard Roark, Rhett Butler was an unforgettable character when I read the book first (at 16, I think). I remember reading ages ago while doing follow-up reading on 'Gone with the Wind,' that Margaret Mitchell retorted to requests for a sequel to her book with "What shall I call it, 'Back with a Breeze'?" :-) Hope you'll back soon, in a breeze. Take care, have a safe trip.
I actually really liked the movie, I've seen it four times! Especially the bit in Atlanta, you know the famous scene where she's climbing over all the bodies. I was always a bit sad they didn't include ALL her children, but that might've taken the movie to five hours instead of four. And thank you, I'll be back in September to pack up flat and cats and then back again to visit many times.
All the best for your trip :) Would love to look at Germany through this newsletter once you get there and are settled in! Food, travel, activities and more!
Thank you! Two weeks of isolation before I can actually leave the house so I'll probably be begging for a nature walk (all there is to do in the area I'm visiting) by the end of it.

I’ve been a long time reader of your blog and your newsletter. Can you write about your most memorable blog posts? A walk down memory lane?

Thank you! And if you make yourself known in my inbox, maybe we can be :)
