I too came across her because of the infamous thread, and because a friend of mine was kind enough to unravel it all for me. Nothing should surprise me about her anymore and yet this Airbnb stuff is definitely shocking.
In a similar vein I've been obsessed with commentary YouTube and the beauty scene in the last couple of years. I know what you mean about the ebb and flow of interest in all that though; I went through a time during the extended British lockdown where I didn't care about any of it for a while (plus things were generally kind of quiet)... but I'm fully on board the Drama Train again, so that didn't last long.
I never got into the YouTube stuff so much (perhaps because I was doing this late at night in bed and didn't want to turn video sound on) but did you follow that crazy story about those parenting influencers who returned their adopted kid? Also the CC subreddit is smol bean snark on reddit. :) I warn you, it's a rabbithole.
